FORMAT: Modified Chapman Scramble NEWGA member and male guest.
Both players tee off. Partners hit each other’s ball. Select a ball and play a scramble until the ball is holed.
Par 3 holes: Each player drives. Select one and scramble until holed.
Through the green, ball may be placed within one club length no nearer the hole and within same conditions.
On the green, ball must be placed with in 4 inches, no nearer the hole.
FLIGHTS: This event is flighted based on the total handicap index of the twosome.
If a player is 70 or over and has a handicap index of 18.0 or higher, he may play from the forward tees. Please advise when registering.
HANDICAP: The handicap is based on 60% of the lower handicap index player and 40% of the higher handicap index player. Carry this to one decimal place.
A maximum handicap index difference of 10.0 is allowed. Greater index is adjusted.
HANDICAPS: Certified within two weeks of the event
