Just wanted to share the following news of the recent passing of two notable former NEWGA members and friends this month, Patty Kellam and Jeannine Goodale. I would like to acknowledge and honor their contributions to our women’s golf community and service to the advancement of our great NEWGA organization for so many years.
Jeannine Goodale
Sandy Weckter had the following to sentiments to share, “Jeannine was very devoted to NEWGA and worked very hard for many years as president. She also was the chairperson of the Capital District Women’s Open for a long time. She was a longtime member of The Edison Club. Jeannine golfed in all of the local tournaments and invitationals and was well known by many golfers. She was a wonderful person. She had Alzheimer’s Disease for the last 10 years.”

Patty was a long time member of Mohawk, NEWGA past president and an official for the NYSGA.
