8/15/2019 -It was a great day yesterday at Mohawk Golf Club where we played the annual Gail Sykes better ball of two. The weather was perfect for golf, the course was in great condition, the luncheon was excellent. Thank you and kudos all around. Flight results will be posted on the web site in the days to come but a quick shout out to the overall winners of the day. After a match of cards, low gross accolades went to Mary Ann Keeler and Mary Corrigan, both of Western Turnpike who tallied an impressive 77. Low net honors went to Joan Taylor and Maxine Tucker, both of Ballston Spa, with a 61 net score. Congratulations to all who played and applause to those who “prized”.

And, a big “wow” to Kim Lloyd of Shaker Ridge who, in the mixed team tournament in Rome, NY with NYSGA, from 166 yards out put the ball in the cup for a double eagle (albatross) on a par 5. And, say congrats to Nancy Kroll of Pinehaven, who in the same tournament scored her eighth career ace. Congratulations to both. Donna Heskett, NEWGA President
