It was a great day to honor a great lady, champion, pioneer and friend. The Gail Purdy Brophy Best 2 of 4 Balls Tournament was contested at the beautifully manicured Mohawk Golf Club yesterday with 100 NEWGA members in attendance! The visual of dozens of golf carts fanning out across that magnificent golf course carrying colorfully clad friends to their starting holes with the sound of lively chatter and laughter never gets old! Seeing you all enjoying each other and the game of golf truly is one of the highlights of each and every NEWGA event for me.

Overall Low Gross Champions were the Ballston Spa CC team of Kathy Harkins, Heidi Harkins, Donna Nevulis and Kate Oppedisano. Overall Low Net Champion honors went to the Shaker Ridge CC team of Dee Cocca, Carol DiFabio, Jean Goldsmith and Kim Scheuer.
